The Lease

We offer excellent terms to holders of our pub leases. Factor the following criteria into your business plan.

  • The pub lease runs for a 10-year term
  • Assignable after two years (landlord consent not unreasonably withheld)
  • You purchase fixtures, fittings, stock-in-trade, glassware and stores
  • Rent paid monthly in advance
  • Rent review every five years; no annual increase
  • Operation of the franchise according to the operating manuals and guide
  • You are responsible for Building Insurance (via Mitchells & Butlers) and separate business insurance
